Bacode Technologies – Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Bacode Technologies website (https://bacodetech.com/) and any services we provide. By accessing or using our website or services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

1. Use of Our Website

You must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian approval to use our services.
You agree to use our website and services responsibly and legally.
You may not use our platform to conduct or support any fraudulent, abusive, harmful, or illegal activity.

2. Intellectual Property

All content on this website—including text, graphics, logos, designs, videos, and images—is the property of Bacode Technologies or its licensed partners and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, distribute, modify, or republish any content without our written permission.
We reserve the right to display completed client projects in our portfolio unless the client requests otherwise in writing.

3. Service Terms

All project fees, deliverables, and timelines will be confirmed in writing before we begin any work.
Clients must provide accurate information, timely feedback, content, and any required access to ensure smooth project execution.
We reserve the right to pause or terminate a project if the client becomes unresponsive for more than 14 days or violates these terms.
Revisions are limited to two rounds unless stated otherwise. Extra revisions may attract additional fees.
If a project is abandoned due to prolonged client inactivity (14+ days), deposits will not be refunded. Resuming work may require extra charges or a new agreement.

4. Payment & Refunds

A non-refundable deposit (usually 70%) is required before work starts unless specified otherwise.
The balance is due before final delivery or website launch.
Late payments (over 7 days) may attract a 5% weekly penalty on the outstanding amount.
Refunds are offered solely at our discretion based on completed work and agreement terms.

5. Limitation of Liability

Bacode Technologies is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or services.
We are not liable for issues caused by third-party tools, hosting providers, plugins, payment gateways, or domain registrars.
Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service.

6. Post-Launch Support

We provide 14–30 days of complimentary support for bug fixes and minor adjustments after project launch.
Ongoing maintenance, content updates, or extended technical support require a separate maintenance or support agreement.

7. Third-Party Links & Tools

Our website may contain links or integrations with third-party tools or platforms.
We do not control or guarantee the security, reliability, or accuracy of third-party content.
Use of third-party tools is at your own risk.

8. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to protect and maintain the confidentiality of any sensitive or proprietary information exchanged during a project.

9. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or service interruptions due to circumstances outside our control, including natural disasters, internet outages, or governmental restrictions.

10. Online Courses & Educational Services

Full payment is required to enroll in any course.
Students receive one-year access to course materials from the enrollment date.
After access expires, students may request an extension or renewal for a fee.
Certificates are issued only upon full completion of course modules and assessments.
Course materials cannot be shared, copied, resold, or redistributed. Violations may lead to account termination without a refund.
All course payments are nonrefundable.
We may update or modify course content at any time.

11. Consultation Services

All consultations must be paid for in advance.
Rates:
N10,000 for 20 minutes
N20,000 for 40 minutes
N30,000 for 60 minutes
Consultations may be conducted via WhatsApp, phone call, or video call.
Rescheduling requires a 24-hour notice; same-day cancellations qualify for a 50% refund.
No-shows are non-refundable.
Late arrivals do not extend session time.
All guidance provided during consultations represents professional advice but does not guarantee specific outcomes.

12. User Accounts & Registration

Users must provide accurate registration details and maintain the confidentiality of their login credentials.
Only one account is permitted per user or business.
Unauthorized access must be reported immediately.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts involved in misuse, fraud, or violations of these terms.

13. 20 Days with Bacode Tech Workshop

The program is a free, immersive training covering web development and social media growth.
Applicants must complete the registration form and meet all pre-workshop requirements, including domain and hosting purchase for practical sessions (when required).
Spaces are limited and acceptance is competitive; not all applicants will be admitted.
Accepted participants must attend all sessions; repeated absence may lead to removal.
Participants who fail to complete tasks will be removed.
Payments made for hosting or related services are non-refundable unless an application is not accepted.
Top performers may receive an N50,000 cash prize and a paid internship with Bacode Technologies.
Training materials are for personal use only and cannot be shared or resold.
We may modify the workshop structure or schedule when necessary.
By registering, participants agree to be featured in promotional content unless they opt out in writing.

14. Login & Access Security

Users must create strong passwords and safeguard their accounts.
Account sharing is not allowed.
Multiple failed login attempts may trigger temporary suspension for security purposes.
While we implement industry-standard security practices, no system is 100% secure.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update or revise these terms at any time. Updates will appear on this page with a new effective date.
Continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
